WPT Prime Cambodia off to a great start! 140+ entries and rising for opening event; first ever NagaWorld Millions $150K gtd starts at 530pm

The much awaited Season XXI World Poker Tour Prime Cambodia is off to a roaring start! At 1pm local time players pulled up seats for Event 1: NagaWorld Superstack 50K  and by the end of the first 3 levels, 16 tables were running and 140+ entries posted on the screens. There is no doubt it will easily surpass last year’s turnout of 183 entries. For players just making their way, hurry on over. Registration is open until 520pm. That’s about one hour from post release. Buy in is $300. This is a two-day event.

With that, welcome to a hot opening day!

If you miss that window, Event 2: WPT Prime Cambodia NagaWorld Millions gets rolling at 530pm. This event features a $150,000 guarantee (KH$ 600M), with buy in at $550. For those that remember the Macau Millions, it is similar in that Day 1 plays down to 10% of the field which means better payouts. Players that qualify to Day 2 receive a min-cash of $1,100. Players with multiple stacks will receive $1,500 for their second stack and $2,000 for their third stack onwards.

In partnership with boutique gaming consulting company, Connaissance Management, and host venue NagaWorld Integrated Resorts, the festival runs for 13-days, from today March 9 until March 21. A total of 30 event trophies are up for grabs and one Player of the Festival title.
