Off to a strong start at the inaugural U Series of Poker Vietnam with the opening event Mystery Bounty smashing its VN₫ 2.5BN guarantee. This is a great sign for the series as more players are expected in the coming days which means more guarantees certain to be crushed.
The Mystery Bounty saw 414 pony up across three entry heats to boost the prize pool to VN₫ 4,015,400,000 (~US$ 171,270). 52 players advanced to Day 2, each one already in the money. Action resumes on Sunday, April 15 at 10:30am at the Crown Poker Club, Vietnam’s Quang Ngoc Phan will carry in the chip lead. He topped the counts at Day 1B with 454,000 (76 bb).

The local force came out for Day 1B to gather the largest turnout of 195 entries. After eight hours of play, Anh Duy Nguyen delivered the bubble with
