In just under 48 hours, the first ever poker event in Hoi An, Vietnam will finally hit the live green as Poker Dream hosts a ten–day series at the five-star Hoiana Hotel & Suites. Since the announcement, the event has drawn plenty of attention with players anticipating another thrilling series by the new brand, and they certainly won’t be disappointed with a 28-game lineup in store running from October 14 to 23.
In addition to the games, the backdrop is one for the dreamers. The venue is oceanside with white sand and has its own golf course. As for Hoi An, it is a popular destination for many local vacationers. It is an old coastal town rich with images of the past and is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
For those just getting wind of Poker Dream, this ambitious new brand debuted in Malaysia last July, becoming the first international poker event to be held in the country. With a tide of eager locals and international players lighting up the felt, it resulted in a grand festival prize pool of US$ 3M, one of the richest seen in Asia this year.
