The inaugural Crown Poker Series was off to a flying start at Crown Plaza Da Nang, Vietnam, with Day 2 seeing several events unfold. The highlight of the day was the Main Event, which kicked off its first of three entry flights, attracting some of the best Asian poker pros to the felt. As expected, a large contingent of Korean pros were in action at Main Event Day 1A, joined by other decorated international players. 13 out of 56 entries survived with Seung Mook Jung bagging up the second largest stack. Yohwan Lim
The two-day Opener Event came to a close and while everyone was worthy of the title, it was Yohwan Lim who emerged victorious to capture his first win outside of home soil in nearly three years. Overnight chip leader Siyang Aaron Phua had a rougher day and had to settle for a 9th place finish Lim earned VN₫ 350,000,000 (~US$ 14,900) for his triumph. Following this win, Lim jumped in the Main Event and closed as one of the heat’s 13 survivors.

The Crown Poker Series is held in Da Nang, one of the choice holiday destinations of both locals and tourists. Make sure to set aside time to catch all of the attractions. Nature lovers have plenty to explore such as the gorgeous beaches, Marble Mountains, Dragon Bridge. Through the years, the city has grown in leaps with hotels lining its long shoreline.
To fly in, Da Nang has its own international airport which services numerous air carriers offering direct flights. To get around, it is easy to book a Grab, bikes and cars are available. Make sure to change your international currency as they only accept Vietnamese Dong.
