Roaring penultimate day at the Crown Poker Club “Find Your Way to the WPT World Championship Series” with everyone coming out of the woodwork for the final two qualifying flights of the Main Event. At the end of the rush, it added 245 more to the previous numbers for a closing tally of 443 entries and a smashing prize pool of ₫6,445,650,000 (~$259,130). Among the notable players in attendance were Nguyen Van Sang, Terry Nguyen, Nguyen Duc Nhat, Nang Quang Nguyen, Francis Garson, and Singapore’s Norbert Koh.

Day 1C gathered the largest crowd of 161 entries with Huynh Ngoc Cuong aka Winter Sea leading the heat’s 20 qualifiers to the final stage. This was another strong performance by Cuong who early in the series topped the overall chip counts of the Day 1 Opener. the At the Main Event, Cuong’s 549,000 stack placed him second overall in the counts, just behind Day 1A leader Phan Duy Tai with 678,000.
