The “Find Your Way to WPT World Championship Series” has entered its penultimate day at Crown Poker Club with the last two flights to the Main Event on the menu. At the time of writing, Day 1C was up and running with registration closing at the end of Level 9, that’s roughly 3:15pm. Blinds increase every 35 minutes. Day 1D (Turbo) joins the floor at 4:30pm with blinds increasing at a faster 25 minutes. This heat closes at the end of Level 9, around 7:45pm.
For all you fence sitters and weekend warriors, this is your last chance. The Main Event buy in is ₫16,500,000 (~$665) with unlimited re-entries. The flights play down to ITM, which is 12.5% of the field. Currently in charge is Day 1A chip leader, Phan Duy Tai. He is the player to catch.
Last night, Day 1B wrapped up with 14 players advancing out of the 112 entries. Super High Roller runner up Tran Hoai Anh aka Harry Tran continued his strong performance by earning the day’s chip leader status. He is now third overall in the Day 2 list.
The Main Event has grown to a cumulative tally 198 entries. 25 qualified into Day 2 / Final Day. They return tomorrow at 11am. We will have the prize pool and payout posted once the remaining flights complete. The final table will be livestreamed in the Crown Poker Club facebook page.

BULL NGUYEN wins the Deepstack Turbo
Turbo master Nguyen Phuong Ngoc aka Bull Nguyen placed 3rd at the earlier Hyper Turbo event and this time fared even better at the Deepstack Turbo. Nguyen topped the 56-entry field to capture one of the club’s crown trophies and ₫50,280,000 (~$2,020) in winnings. Also running consistent were Hanish Saini and Duong Vi Khoa, both players on their second final table cash.
