APPT National – Day 2
Abhinav Iyer
Day 2 of APPT National saw 78 players out of 314 entries back on the beat. The day’s entering chip leader, Minwoo Kang, continued to impress as he maintained rank for most of the day. It was only during the final two tables when Abhinav Iyer and Choi Hun Tae navigated their way to the top to dethrone Kang.
The bubble burst quite early with only 2.5 hours played. India’s Amit Kaushik was down to 2.5 bb and never recovered. Another five hours later, the heat wrapped up with Iyer eliminating Russia’s Evgenii Kalymaev. Iyer bagged the chip lead of 102 BB. You can read up on the Day 2 action via the SMP Live Updates.
